From one truck to 500+ Florida homes
Founded in Miami in 2010, Driftstone Build Co. was born out of frustration. Our founder, a third-generation builder, kept hearing the same complaints from Florida homeowners — contractors who disappeared, change orders that ballooned budgets, work that didn't survive the next hurricane season.
So we built the company we wished existed: one project manager per job, fixed-price contracts, weekly photo updates, and engineering that meets or exceeds Florida code instead of just hitting the minimum.
Today we serve homeowners across 12 Florida counties — from Miami-Dade to Duval — with a tight, in-house design and field team.

Where in Florida do you work?
Statewide. Our core service areas are Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Lee, Collier, Sarasota, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Orange, Seminole, Volusia, and Duval. We'll travel for whole-home projects elsewhere — ask.
How much does a remodel cost?
Honest answer: it depends on scope and finishes. A kitchen ranges from $45k–$185k. A bathroom $18k–$85k. An ADU $130k–$310k. We give a fixed-price quote after the consultation — no guessing.
How long does a typical project take?
Kitchens: 6–14 weeks. Bathrooms: 3–7 weeks. ADUs: 16–28 weeks. Whole-home renovations: 5–10 months. We commit to the timeline in writing.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Florida Certified General Contractor License CGC #1532104, $2M general liability, full workers' comp coverage. We can provide certificates on request.
Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?
Always. Permitting, wind-mit engineering, FEMA elevation paperwork where applicable, and HOA submission packages — all in scope.
What warranty do you provide?
2-year workmanship warranty standard. 10-year structural warranty on framing and additions. Manufacturer warranties pass through directly to you on fixtures, appliances, and impact openings.
